Is it Possible?

Is it possible to run higher boost safely, if you have headers and high flow cats and mufflers ?

I think your asking if you can put your boost back to the previous level before you lost it because of a freer flowing exhaust. of course as long as the block will take it. Beyond that it's all in the tune. If you make power or not i guess kinda depends on where you are at with the boost already.

I think hes refering to running say 14psi before long tubes and high flows. Then adding then going back to 12psi or so. ANd then adding 2 more psi to get back to 14psi total with tubes and high flows and will it be a safer 14psi than the 14 psi to start with.

Sorry I'm not clear, but for example currently I have a #4, if I did the header and exhaust could I run a #6 and still have the same margin of safety, because of lower cylinder pressure....

yes, cylinder pressure shouldn't be your concern. Cylinder pressure is nothing compared to the explosive force of detonation. I'm not positive is the safety margin is actually going to be "safer" but as long as your tune is proper you should be just fine.
