I'm Pumped! Springtime in Minnesota; Mods Ordered!
 

It's beginning to look like Spring here in the frozen North, and time to be thinking of pulling the Lightning out of storage and doing all the detailing to get her lookin' good.

And Mods! Got new CIPA Sport Mirrors last week, and yesterday ordered new functional hood from Fiberglass Fabricators, new 15" red, flamed billit antenna from Shorty Antennas, and picked up a junk tailgate latch to paint red to match the L. My body guy is waiting for the hood, and I asked him to come up with something cool for the air inatke area. Anybody got pics of scoop intake custom paint work?

Anyway, I'm pumped! Pics when installed.

Nope...small "supercharged" decal. I did paint my radio surround an anodized red, which you looked at and apparently liked.

Ahh yeah I remember you . Yeah that did look good. You did a great job on it. Hope to run into you this summer. We have found alot of cool Lightning owners in the cites.

I never really liked the idea of American Ford hosting because when I went to buy my Lightning, they were the only deal in the T.C. who wouldn't do X Plan; basically, they told me they didn't need my business. OK, that's fine, bought it a Airlake Ford, so screw American F.

Just waiting for the hood to arrive so I can get the truck out of storage, get it and the mirrors painted and get back on the road. Also came across this guy in California who makes killer "flame" antennas, so have one of those coming. Only decision to make is whether to buy a Magnaflow exhaust system. Would like mmore sound, but $400 is what I have to lay out for it.
