Truck DIDN'T go BOOM, BUT motor is getting replaced

First off it was NOBODYs fault but MINE. Not JDMs, NOT Teri from Pro-Glass.

IT WAS MY FAULT.

When I drove the L to Indiana it had the full race set-up on it including the 8# lower (WHICH JIM TOLD ME TO TAKE OFF) and the single (FULL RACE TUNE) chip. Basically the exact same set-up I ran my 10.76 with. Except for one small(BIG) detail. 94 Octane instaed of the recommended 116.

Teri from Pro-Glass talks about his Hi HP Turbo F-150 all the time. So I told him he could take mine for a spin to see how it felt compared to his, I neglected to explain the fuel situation (MAKING IT MY FAULT, NOT TERI'S) . So when he took it for a spin it was cold out and he WOT and it cracked the cylinder wall.

I am a Big boy and took responsibility for the whole deal and having the short block replaced. I called Teri and we talked. He feels real bad about it and wants to do something for me. I told him not to worry about it.

I would like to THANK JDM though for getting me a small block and getting it done so I can still go to Florida this week. He had to move a lot of things around to do this and I APPRECIATE IT.

That is the WHOLE story.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your motor....But I'll say this it sure is refreshing to see someone take the blame for there own mistakes.. most people would tuner bash or worse. Big o'l thumbs up from the mtn.state and good luck with your new block.

Vinne that sucks but I still want a ride when you get the new engine in. I put the shackles in last weekend, and the chip and pulley are on their way. I might need your help putting the pulley on. I will stop by one day this week.

Thanks,

Matt

Vinnie truck is there getting the new Superchips custom programer and some dyno tuning.

I talked to him on his way back from Pro Glass where he has some more custom stuff done to his truck. So as of a few days ago everything was A OK.

I have not talked to Don since.
