WHATS THE RECORD FOR A SET OF F1's (Mileage)

I just hit 25,000 on mine, and have 4 new ones in the basement, I think I can get some more miles so just wondering what others have made it to..???

34k and alot of smoky burnouts and track runs....I finally couldn't take it anymore and put a set on....What a difference in ride, traction, and braking....

well i would like to know whats average? i just bought my truck a couple months ago and was lucky... they only had about 1,000 miles on them.... so basically new....

im just curious how long they are gonna last me... i dont do burnouts and dont even take to track.... ocasional street race... but not even much of that

I have a little over 28,000 on mine and they are looking pretty bad! I have 2 new ones in the garage, need to go ahead and get 2 more... I will probably change them at around 30K.

I got approximately 7900 miles on mine. I hated those tires to begin with. That was with a MILLION break stands.

I got 28000 Km's on a set on my 02 Lightning.

My 03 has 22,000 Km's on it and the back ones are getting pretty bald. Next oil change they will get a rotation

Tire Wear

I usually get about 8k to 10k out of my F1's with conservative driving. I find it hard to believe these tires last for 28k.

Believe it... you must treat yours like ***** or something.

I think that the "688 rwtq" in his signature would explain why he may eat through tires sooner than other drivers would. You could drive like a grandmother all day long in a truck like that, and you would still eat them up.

I changed mine out at 42,300 miles and they still had tread left but I was getting afraid of running in the rain. I actually had a few(?) 1/4 mile passes on them too.

DAMN...........

Iam an old man too, and mine are worn out at 16K miles. Which compared to my 99 L is good:devil:

I live 6 miles from where I work. I deliberately charted a route with the most possible stop signs I could find. My F-1's last about 12k on average:D Then I rotate the front to the rear and I'm ready for another 12k:thumbsup:

Some nights I'm in a hurry to get home...
