Save'd my heads

I thought I had an exhaust leak. Took it in and had them check the plugs just to get a feel good at the same time. 6 of the 8 had worked themselves loose. I wish I had 03' heads. Ford should really think about a recall.

Recall isn't in a popular in Ford's vocabulary, they'd rather wait til things break or patch things with band aids instead of addressing the problem with a real solution.

It's not just Ford. G.M. does the same crapola with their flagship car.... the Corvette.

Lets see, C-5's have been around since 1997.
Rocking seats
Faulty gas gauge
Steering column lock
Oil consumption
Leaky rear diff. seals
Geo radio
Warping rotors
Leaking battery over the PCM
Horrible leather on the seats

I'm sure I left some out.
BTW, I can complain, I own two of them:eek:

after hearing this problem over and over again, my conclusion is that ford made a head design that poorly accomodates human failure. Installation of plugs i think is just as much of a cause as the head design for these plugs spitting out. Good thing you caught it before you stripped some threads. Thats never fun.
