SVTOA's version of the SEMA - SVT announcement

Nevertheless, the show's biggest news, from an SVTOA viewpoint, is the report by Automotive News that the company will invest heavily in future SVT products. In fact, the trade publication quotes Phil Martens, Ford's group vice president for product development, as saying, "For the next three to four years, we will invest more in SVT than we've ever invested before."

"If you're waiting for the next generation SVT products thinking they are just around the corner,” Tom Scarpello, SVT sales and marketing manager, told SVTOA, “you may want to reconsider and opt for a current SVT instead. Although the new programs are moving forward, they are still quite a ways from reaching production."

When they do, you can bet the immensely successful Special Vehicle Team will provide enthusiasts with even more excitement.

Interesting......

Both the next Gen Lightning and Cobra are behind schedule…

I hear things like 2006 as a 07 model…
