What is the fewest mods anybody has run 12's in the 1/4 with.
 

Does that make sense? Im not asking what it takes to run 12's, but rather, who has run 12's with very few mods? What is the "record" so to say, for the least amount of mods somebody has used to get in the 12's?

Mike (Blueballs) in his 02 factory freak ran a 12.9something w/ a chip and filter. THATS IT.

HIGH ROLLER ran at 12.86 with chip only on F1's in his 99!

Not that this is a 12 but I saw a guy run a 13.04 with a 4lb pulley and modded airbox on F1's with a 1.91 60ft. It isn't 12 but it should be with a little cooler weather and a better launch.

so how about without a chip? I thoughht there were a few out there who did it with no chip.

Actually i ran a 12.75 best with a chip and air filter on f-1s.But i also ran a 13.2 bone stock too....i just lucked out and ended up with a freak truck.

Whats the whole freak driver thing all about though:D

Lots of people have run 12's with no chip. Just get stuff like slicks, efan setup, exhaust, filter, 4# (or less) pulley etc and you can easily run 12's with no chip.

Well my goal is to run 12's with the stock lower pulley and no chip, and not a whole lot of money invested in other mods. (mainly because I don't know how to install them) Doesn't look like anybody has done it with no chip and no lower so maybe I'll be the first.
