What's Everyone Think???
What's everyone think.
Carbon Fiber Hood.........yes :rocker: or no :( ? This is what it'd look like on my Cobra. Painted in similar fashion. The center being clearcoated showing the CF. https://www.f150online.com/galleries...1431-72221.jpg |
For me........... ah.........no
PEacE....................... Jim |
But, WHY would you want to show the CF? That's gaudy as anything. IMO, like kids wearing eyelid-rings to show that they're "hardcore" :D
|
IMO...too much RICE...

No, it was an example that some people are willing to spend money to make their vehicle look good and fit in with 10% of the population, while making it look ugly to the other 90%.

looks *OK* in the pic, thats too hard of a thing to judge without seeing up close... I do like the idea having the sides of it painted body color though. Do they make any nice functional hoods for the new cobras?
|
I'd vote no on that.

Maybe we should all get Gen1's to be cool like Brian Baskin.
  |
me no like
D-Day |
Yeah...
I'm thinking NO. I thought no before too. It's money in the WORKS for a save KENNE BELL fund. It is functional, the vents in the hood are open. It weighs ~22lbs vs the factory 40lbs. It would help slightly and front to rear weight distribution. Konig, The stock Cobra hood is also function w/ open vents. |
I like how that hood looks.:bandito:

The question is the paint job. It would look good with just the center portion left carbon fiber, but you will need a good sprayer to hide the line between the to. And it will slightly lower the overall poundage
