Which E-Fan do you recommend?

Hey guys,

I was looking into getting a JLP Electric fan - but after reading the respones to my last post it seems like several members have bought an e-fan from JDM. RPMoutlet also sells a dual e-fan for around the same price.

With all these choices out there, if I'm going to drop $400+ on a fan I'd like to know I'm getting the best for my money.

Which fan is the best buy in terms of reliability and quality of construction?

BTW, I plan to run the e-fan on my stock water pump as I saw several members state that there was no benefit to using the Cobra R pump.

Thanks!

I've got the Troyer Performance dual Derale set up and think that I could safely recommend it. Great people to work with also. If you call Mike and talk with him you'll likely buy one so watch out.

hey chike, an e-fan is going to be pretty much the same from whom ever, LFP sells them to, the only reason i told you to get the JLP is , well were a vendor and we will HELP you put it in for FREE. we caqn do it on a sat even when im there. if you want the water pump we have a great svt mechanic who charges 30 per hour on the side. 55 per hour at ford, anyway let me know either way

Thanks Aaron. I'll probably just get the e-fan and not worry about the pump.

The Mustang pump has a more efficient impeller design. The reason it is used with the efan is because the long threaded snout on the stock pump will hit the Efan. If you are going to keep the stock pump you have to cut off the threaded part so the Efan will clear. JDM uses Ford factory parts if that is a plus. Not sure what the other kits use.
