Checked the weather and it's 73 degrees, 69% humidity with light variable winds. This should make for some decent ET's compared to the conditions they have been running in.

I talked to Don's Bolt last night and there was no new personal bests saturday. Hopefully today will bring out the best times for everybody involved:thumbsup:

Saturday was like 85 with 100% humidity. There were defenetly no new best set. Today might be a different story.

Nobody was breaking any records this weeked, which you ususally don't when bracket racings.

Weather Saturday was hot hot, but not as bad as last year. Cooled down drastically today , which is why so many of us broke out and bowed out in the first round.

Couple of guys were having some tuning issues.......and a couple of guys ran some new bests, so it was odd.

Ed (BostonL) beat Shawn (JDM) in the finals of the cobra confrentation. Not alot of cars in this class, but it's new.

When I left, Vinny and Scott were the only guys i know that made it to round 3.

Huge turnout this year, i think their was over 50 lightings there total, and probably close to 25-30 trucks in TT.

Yea, bracket racing takes the fun out of breaking records. But I bet there was some test and tune time!

No t&t on sunday. Also, no impressive test runs either. The faster times seemed to be today during eliminations....and guys were still on the brakes too!!!

The Vinman smoked 'em in the finals!!!

He was awesome all day today!!

I had a great weekend at the track even though I didn't do so well on the track!!

I bulbed in the first round of Tough Truck, wasting a perfectly good 13.11 on a 13.09 dial!!

But get this one, in Quick Ford first round the other guy bulbed on me, second round I ran a 13.051 on a 13.05 dial, the third round I ran an almost perfect run, a 12.991 on a 12.99 dial, but I had a 4.98 redlight!!! ARGGH!!! If it were only horseshoes!!!!

Had blast there yesterday (saturday). It was great being able to meet Don, Vinnie and others. Here are some quick pictures and ill work on putting the rest on a website ( about 180 picts total ). It was great seeing so many lightnings there.

i don't think i got to meet you saturday keith. Kinda hard to talk to everyone and tend to me truck as well as help the other guys. Sooo many new faces this year and I had a blast. Hope we get a chance to shoot the breeze up at the track before the year is out!!!!

I figured it would be tuff to talk with everybody, but it was fun observing from the sidelines and everybody was very busy. The great thing is that I dont think I saw only one person working on a lightning, it was usually a group of people trying to figure something out.

dont think im dumb but what is a FFW? I know its like a drag racing thing but is there any specific info on them?
