SON OF A &%!$@^!@... !!!!!!!!!! Tore the L's front bumper :(

So I am parking my Lightning and there is one of those concrete long blocks at the end of the parking spot. No big deal since the L is high enough to clear it. So I park but as a get over the block I feel it hit the lower part of the Lightnings front bumper. I think oh this on must be a bit higher. SO I stop right away and put her in reverse. The truck wont move so I push on the gas a bit. I then hear a loud crack noise. WTF was that? I go out to look and there was a ****ing metal beam coming out of the concrete barrier by about 2 inches that I had not seen. I drove over it and it got behind the bumper so when I reversed it got caught behind the bumper and ripped right through it so now I have a nice 1 inch tear in my front bumper. I WAS SOOO PISSESD! Ya so needless to say I called up my body shop right away and booked and appointment to get it fixed a few minutes later...

Sorry to hear bout that. That is why I back into parking spots. One thing about it you can get another Lightning bumper off ebay for about $200. Then another $250 for paint. Make sure toget the new style lightning bumper not the one from 1999-2000 or your lights want fit.;)

Reason to commit seppuku, eh? Has anyone ever told you that you tend to blow things out of proportion? I have seen some horrible calamities on this board, but scratching a bumper ain't one of them.

I didnt scratch it I tore through it and by no means am I saying its the end of the world, I am saying it sucks and pissed me off.
I try to take care of my stuff and stuff like this is a bummer. No big deal though.. Goes to the body shop on monday and will be good as new.

Dont fell bad, my girlfriend jacked up my front bumper on my truck...... She didn't know how to back down the driveway with a lowerd vehicle and she wen't straight down the driveway.....:rolleyes:
I swear I wanted to kill her but oh well..... chit happens....:smoke: :D
