Remanufactured PCM's

Was wondering......With all the Talk about switching PCMS.......
If I remember correctly some Remanufactured PCM's via Ford,
are sold w/out the protective coating on the terminal.....

Anybody find this to be a fact?:confused:

Fact ... I've seen it ... Ordered the PCM part number
expecting a NEW one and got the REMAN'ed ...

I bought a CUX2 pcm from the local ford dealership and it had the coating intact. I don't know if it was remanufactured or not.

True, you really dont know what your getting until you open it up.
