Time for LT's...!!
 

Well it's time for LT's and I have a few questions. One, do longtubes bolt right up to the Bassani catback or do I need a custom made mid pipe or something?? Two... who has the best price and what kind am I looking at?? I already have a Bassani 2 cat mid pipe with Bassani catback! Will LT"s increase sound and by how much if so? And what about power gains on a heavy modded motor?:confused:

The Bassani two cat mid pipe I believe bolts up to there headers or stock headers, so I a new mid pipe would be needed or the labor to mod what you have ( I'd just buy it and sell off the Bassani mid) , As for choices the popular setups seem to be
Kook's (JDM) or Dynotech (Razors edge) quality wise I'd rate them as equal and both tuner have mid pipes have to connect the Bassani cat back. I have JDM's and have been very staisified. Price wise about 850.00-900.00 for the headers and another 300.00-400.00 for the mid pipe with high flows. Do long tubes increase sound, uh-yea just a bit. My truck sounds awesome and should fiil your need for more volume as for HP I'd say 10-15 to the rear wheels.

Hey todd, ,what were your mods on your truck before the LT install, and what kind of gains (SOTP and Dyno [if avail.]), did you notice? I only ask because I'm on the verge of ordering my E-Fan/Pump and LT/Hi Flows/Midpipes from JDM, just curious as to what you experienced. BTW, anyone else can chime in on this:D
