Is my Chip ok...

After Ford blew up my PCM last week? Would I need a reburn or is the chip burnt out now? Or is it ok to put back in?

If Ford reflashed your PCM maybe..... example I have a 2000 Lightning as you do but have the CNX1 PCM which is for a 2001

Maybe it's best to send it in for a reburn just incase.

Also as jarmstro suggested, find out what program you have now on your PCM. They could have flashed to a different computer could which would then mean your current chip definately will not work.

If it's the same computer code as it was before, then yes.

When they killed your PCM, was the chip in? If it was then go for a reburn just incase it got messed up.
