Headlight Alignment Problem

I installed a set of Silverstars in my '03 and when it came time to drive the L at night I couldn't see more than 15ft ahead of me. I slid them back in and pushed the clips down and they have a good deal of play still. I haven't touched the alignment bolts. Is there some secret I am missing out on?

I had to play with mine too when I first got them. It wasn't bad as yours but there was a little play. You just have to slide it in just right and clip it down....there is no real science to it.
