Has anyone ever removed these plastic ones that come with our trucks. Does it look alright with them off? Im trying to get a better fit with my Snuglid it just seems to sit high and it looks like if I removed the plastic crap it might sit better and snugger. Just wondering if anyone has done this to get a better fit with a lid and if there are any pros or cons to removing them. And if the caps are better on anyone know where to get better ones that fit better and are not so big just maybe lower profile.

Chikenears can get you some smooth ones to go on there. I will be getting them for my L. They look a hell of a lot better than the stock ones. Go back in posts one page and you will see his truck with them installed.
