max boost on stock program?

Ive still got alot of time/miles on factory, and dont want some Ford rep. canning my warranty if he sees chip evidence. If I have a waranty problem, its easy enough to put the stock filter and punney on. But the chip is the killer. Is there any programmer aka hypertec that flashes prom thru diagnostic port?
Otherwise, whats the biggest pulley I can run w/stock computer?
I prefer stealth ond go over show, so heres my mod plans;
1. pulley
2. intake kit
3.stock exh.
4.Shift kit
5.boost bypass
6. sticky tires
7. traction bars
8.NGK TR6
Will this be enough to put me in the 12's?

I agree with PI... I have been running a 4# no chip for several months with absolutely no problems, and with a safe A/F ratio. With the mods you mention with a 4# pulley, you should see upper 12s in good weather. That's what I am hoping for (see mods in sig). BTW, you mention boost bypass... don't spend any money on that, just unplug the solenoid and get the same results for free.

If I just unplug the boost bypass valve-problem solved? But arent there times when you really would want that bypass valve to kick in? Does the bypass totally disable it-same as unplugging it?

I ran the 4# w/no chip and had zero problems in 5k miles. And when I pulled the stock plugs they were all fine. Just had a little evidence of being lean. But nothing to fret. I bet a one step colder plug would have even solved that.

I gotta tell you though... A good tune on a chip will open your eyes. WIDE!

I went from having to roll 10-15 ft before going wot on a cold day (in 1st gear). To NOT.... I repeat **N-O-T** being able to go wot on a cold day in first gear.

You can run a 2lb with no chip safely. You "might" be able to run a 4 with no chip, but if you try it, I strongly suggest checking your A/F on a dyno right away. I've got a few customers that run 4s with no chip, and most are right on the 12.0 A/F range.

As for the by-pass, you can just unplug the boost dump solenoid electrical connector. That disables the computers ability to dump boost, but does not disable the bypass valve itself.

Hope this helps.
