Rear Window

Im thinking about removing the rear slider window and putting a regular rear window in, besides the new rear window and seal what other parts will I need?, ive seen pictures of other trucks here with this done, and I think it looks better than the slider.
any help is appreciated.

Larry.

Did exactly that on my " L " 3.8 years ago! Installed dark solid
window and lots of black urethane sealer and that was it! Have
you got a line on one? They are expensive! Really adds a better
look to the truck I think. Fine one used if you can!

I did it on mine last year, I HATE SLIDERS!!!!!

I did mine for appearance and security. It was easy, just go to a window glass place and they will sell you a roll of this sticky caulk tape. Taking the old slider out is kinda tough because the slider is VERY weak, so don't force it. Once you get it out, make sure remove all the old sticky stuff. Then put that new roll of sticky stuff on the window and install the new glass.

One HUGE tip.....

Don't over torq the nut's, you will snap the studs.

Here is a pic of mine.
