Yipe, woah, slip'n'slide. :)
I dunno how you guys do it.
I learned the push points of my truck so well over the last three years, and this last weekend I ruined it all, I removed the spare tire. :) lol Wow, man, that little bit'o'weight coming off the rear has really upset the balance... I guess with all my crapola on the rear, I gave the truck a better front/back ratio, but now I feel really loose. Stan -- think I'd be able to put that ATL tank in the back without getting the IRS frame? Perhaps to where the spare is? Or is it impossible to mount. How involved was moving your engine back and down that distance? When I take the hitch off, I think I'm going to put the spare back on. Daniel |
It is amazing how much difference removing the spare makes. I installed my billet wheels, and removed the spare/spare holder all at the same time, and the truck felt like I had added a pulley.

Dammit, Daniel, I want to know about your lightweight wheels.:bows: :beers:
|
ok guys, this is gonna sound really stupid, but how TF do you get the spare down? I think mine is stuck :help: :o
|
that long bar under your hood and the little cylinder key in your glove box, put the key on the end of the bar and stick it in the hole at the rear. then crank it down.

Fuel Cell
Daniel, yes you can but you can use a smaller one instead of the 32 gal one that I use.Would fit up in there real nice and would not have to cut the rear suspport out.But plan on BIG $$$ by the time you get everything to make it work with EFI on a road course. But then you could run TRUE duals 1 on each side.Stan :rocker:

all i do is stick my rod in the hole and crank it down doh, and all this time I have been sticking my crank in the hole  |

see, thats where you have been going wrong. |
ohhh I see...I wasn't finding the right hole to insert my rod into :o :D now I know what that hole next to the license plate is for  LOL
|
some rollpans block you from using your spare, I think the lund has a hole built into the design so its not an issue. Im just going to take off my spare when I get my pan on...maybe

I think mine is stuck :help: :o One is the Mirrors blink with the directionals (more than a yr I've been driving my L 24/7 and I never knew that) Two, the Captain had to show me how to get the spare down, I didn't even know that wire thingy under the hood was for that. THANKS AGAIN CAPTAIN. Hey Captain, by any chance did our trucks come with heat too :D |
