I read up on this commercial last week. There is no computer animation at all and it took them 606 tries to get the whole thing right. They also said that if they would have tried it again it probably wouldnt have worked. Also the way they get the tires to roll up the ramp is because they have screws and weight specifically positioned inside the tires. I will try to find the article and post the link here.

The only problem with doing that with a Lightning is:
The two piece valves would break The rotors would warp The support bar would wear through the seat The exhaust would vibrate The wiper motor would fail The rods would break The door would crack And then as it drove off the ramp, the front susp would clunk :p It's still neat as hell, and I also noticed that it's a right hand drive dash. |
