JDM or R.E.M

Im looking into buying an electric fan and water pump but was wondering which fan to go with. I noticed that R.E.M's fans have 2 blades and JDM has 1 big blade. Which one is better? and why?
thanks

Johnny

everyone i talked to said to stay away from the jdm unit because it was expensive and it was more labor intensive
any one else hear this?

JL also offers a fan kit as well

Get the fan from BOP.It was very easy to put in.It took me about 2 and half hours to do mine.It looks just like my stock fan.

You might check with LFP, too. I ordered a kit because Mark claims it is truly plug 'n play, all pre-wired. Haven't got it yet, so I can't comment, but LFP has never lied to me before.

For your area I would recommend the Flexalite 270 for maximum cooling.

The JDM Fan is a Ford Fan .... slightly hacked to fit ...

So when you go to the dealer they may not recognise the mod ...

Cool

I bought a flex-a-lite dual unit through summit. It was not an easy plug and play. But it was not to difficult either.

And being your local water pump guru As long as your not towing? The cobra pump that REM sells will hook you up.

I had JDM install there fan kit and water pump on my 01', I would recommend this setup to anyone, it looks stock, works great and seemed to quicken my throttle response a bit. Todd

I say call up BOTH shops talk to the guys..........and make your decision. Thats what I did.

Ofcourse, being closer to JDM helped make my decision

There is nothing slightly hacked here. We use nothing but the best parts. From the Factory Ford Fan, to Factory Ford Relays the reason we do this is for reliability and longetivity. Ford tests their fans up to 900,000 cycles. If these fans weren't the best we wouldn't have sold as many kits as we have in the past 3 years. If you have any questions feel free to call our sales staff.
