QA1's...

I just got the QA1 Shocks from REM front and rear...

First of all I was reading around and saw some pretty good results with them on traction....How much better were your 60' times after installing the Shocks...

Also what setting do you have them set at for the street and what do you set them at the track? or is there one perfect single setting?

Thanks:thumbsup:

That thread does not answer the question completely.

For "the track," I take it you mean the dragstrip. In that case, I would crank the fronts up to the max and crank the rears down to the minimum. This will maximize weight transfer on launch (or so I'm told, I don't drag).

They are so easy to adjust, though, just play around and find out what works best for you.

My setup responded better with 6 clicks up front and 1 click in the rear.

I used 1 in the rear since my rear springs are fairly new 'cuz it's an '01.

On a softer leaf spring, you might want to firm them up a bit. My buddy with a '99 with 50K miles on the leaf springs saw better results with a setting of 4 clicks.

My best 60ft is 1.60s.

You'll have to test-n-tune to find the best setting for your particular suspension.

Hope this helps.

Thanks...no problem...can't wait to put them on..

Tim,

What Brembo brakes did you ever end up putting on your L, the new Gran Turismo kit? and are they front and rear?
