That looks fantastic...the way it should have been done by Ford. What upholstery shop did that for you and what was the cost?

Thanks HotRodMan.
There is an old time Hot Rodder in the Akron Ohio area, hell what am I talking about, I'm old too.
Lee's Auto Trim in Akron, Ohio. Promised not to tell anyone what I paid as he was doing me a favor in return for many years of repeat business when I was restoring ol FE motor cars and trucks, but I asked what he would charge the general public and he said around $450.00. Guy really does quality work. He did a 65 F-100 for me that just kept winning "best interior" awards at each show it entered.
Thanks again .

Sorry about not making it last night to the Lizard. I got all hung up at the car plant and could not get out of here.
Are we still on for next saturday at 42?

Looks nice ....and 450.00 to the general public is a steal for this type of work.

Phil,

Elaine and I had good time as well! Best of luck w/Becky too!

And get that phone #, too !

Marc,

I hope to meet up w/you and Phil soon here around Akron/Medina. BTW, your "older" hot-rod friend wouldn't drive a blue/green 427 Chevy pwrd classic pickup (don't know older Ford/Chevy trucks) w/slicks on it would he?

I ask b/c I was cruising down Market here in Akron around noonish and I see this thing roll up and we get side-by-side and we chat. The exhaust sounded mean!

We take off easy and I gas on mine and it's on! Next light, he stayed on the go-pedal a little longer it seemed, but it was interesting to say the least.

I don't want to get to jiggy w/the L since I only 500 miles on the clock and it's in town.

As for 42, I'd like to make it, but I've made plans way back for next weekend to make a run over to Indiana for Elaine's family get-together.

Later,

Ronald

Wish I could have made it to the lizard. I don't check my email on the weekend (stupid). I spent all weekend painting the new house. I went to Lowes and hauld a ton of crown molding home in the L. Had 12ft sections of the stuff hanging out the back and pushed through the rear slider. Wish I had the cam with me, would have been a great shot! Could have used the break. Maybe we can try again. I will call your cell rqbrown.

Hope to meet up soon!

Jim
