well the fart from the exahust is completely normal. its the 4 cylinder cutoff, a chip will fix that for you.

I never heard of the passenger window motor going out?

me neither....damn I would be pissed off if I had that door crack thing. My roof doesnt have the cracks but my last f-150 did. If your's is a 99 like your name suggests, you shouldn't have a cracked fog light, the 99-00 fog lights arent the same style as the 01-03..which had the cracking problem

My pass window motor got jammed half way down, only 5,000 miles dealer fixed it tho along with some other goodies!

I replaced my '00 fogs about 5 times. EVERY one was cracked from the INSIDE. :fyi:

The '99s and '00s had the cracking problem. Ford's attempt to fix the problem in the '01s just made it worse.

WTH ...mine havent ever cracked, I use them 100% of the time I use my headlights. It rains here in FL all the time as well...what was the problem with the 99-00?

78f1hundo Mar 12, 2003 09:00 AM

Mine cracked twice on me....

RTKILLA Mar 12, 2003 09:04 AM

I replaced mine 4 times and finally I got so tired of it I just don't use them anymore.

I haven't used my fogs in about a year probably! someday I would like to use them again but I just don't want them to crack again.

hay guys were exactly are the doors cracking at I have an 00 and I dont think I have any of those problems listed above, of course my L only has 10,000 miles and sits in an enclosed car trailer all winter.:D

I'm also interested in "door'crack" &

foglight crack. Where does dor crack usually appear? Any consistency of location for this problem? Fog lights have been looked at a number of times, but see anything. Is crack noticeable and what do they look like? I' usually careful to not run fogs in the rain after reading this forum. My regular warranty expires in less than 3 mo.,but truck only has 10k on 2KL. CYNTAXX extended warranty only for mechanical & electrical issues stated NOT appearance items.

okchawk Mar 12, 2003 09:47 AM

I have a '02 and my fog light lenses cracked the first time I used them for more than 5 minutes.

Konig Mar 12, 2003 10:20 AM

I dont undertsand how the 99-00 fogs are so bad, they have been using that style in mustangs for years. Do the newer style '03 fogs crack? I saw them and they dont have a reflector on them, does this solve it or only delay the problem?
