If the situation is right (cool weather, good driver, good track) he can hit the 12's.

Good god yes.........20* timing is pretty aggressive and your running a 6# lower.........hell in good weather you should run 12.5's.

My bad, I didn't see the pulley listed in his mods, now im thinking low 12's.

I would say hell yes too.
Whats the altitude where you race??

I ran a 12.45 with a 2# lower, 1.5# upper, electric fan. no cobra water pump, line mod valve, and traction bars on my F1's.

So as long as you get good weather and your not at a high altitude, I say yes.

With 6lbs of Boost and that Timing, it better run 12's

I ran 12.8 with Filter-Chip-n-4lb Pulley on F-1's
NO OTHER MODS (17 degree's of Timing, PIG RICH)

TYT-LYT Mar 9, 2003 12:43 AM

do you guys think 20 degrees is a little too risky?

CaliLightning Mar 9, 2003 06:24 AM

with 104 octance race gas 20 degrees is fine...on ****ty 91 cali gas hell no!

Im running about the same set up, 6# pulley, Diablo shift kit, 160 degree thermo, K&N open filter, Plugs, and Diablo chip with 19 degrees in it but I run 100 total octane in order to run with my set up. I run my L down til the fuel light comes on and that leaves me about 4 gallons of 93 octane and I mix my fuel from there to make sure my total gets to 100. My 1/4 mile time are in the 12.3's. So yes you can do it.
