More Snow coming to NY, "BUT" I'm ready for it now
 

Finally got a winter beater after driving in what seems like 10 snow storms already in the L. It just started a few minutes ago and they're expecting up to 8 inches on top of what we got Fri.
It's some piece of Crap VW Fox that looks and runs like a Free car, but is was Free, so I can't complain.
Won't take the gas, probably got a clogged fuel or air filter or injector, but I'll use it with todays snow and see what happens.

I probably should register it eventually :D

Yeah, snow blows....Expecting 3-4 inches here to....Nice beater, reminds me of an 83 dodge k-car that I had for a beater many moons ago...man that thing was a piece of chit...lotta fun though...

I too got a winter beater. And I use it for all the snow that Milwaukee is NOT getting this year.

I'd at least then really have a good excuse to drive a winter beater. Right now it's just a salty roads beater... or something

ugghhh!! I have been trying to find something like that forever! Around here, even the biggest POS's people want near a $1000 ... I dont know what the hell their problems are :) I hate driving in the snow in the L, even worse is after it all melts and the salt and sand kick up all over it.

Anyways, nice car! I'm actually jellous of it, i need one. :rocker:

You will be much happier having your L tucked in for the rest of winter . The 1st year I had to drive mine in feb and march . I hated seeing it dirty all the time ! Now I drive the wifes focus in the winter and the L sees only sunny summer days .

Wow, I know how you all feel. I mean sometimes there is just so much SUN here in california that I just have to go for a drive and beat up on some little ricers! Oh well, I'm goin for a drive :devil:

I lived in Cali before and I will take the snow and cold over that place any day! My father still lives out there and offered me a job making about 30k more a year than i do here and I turned him down . Besides winter is modding time here!

Snow Snow Snow when will it end.. I have snow and a second vehicle to drive but it still sucks...

im actually thinking of getting a beater also, i have a beater now that doesn't run that i use for insurance purposes....

im thinking of getting a mini van or something cause i put it in PLPD for my insurance...... but then again i have snow tires that might goto waste.....

The only bad thing is, I started thinking it felt fast a few weeks ago... been waaaaay too long without the L.
