Got Wooped by a Fellow Forum Brother just now, and it felt great
I just took the Black Beauty out for the test run with the Accu-Fab and Plasma Unit. WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN WHAT HAPPEN NEXT
Not only did I roll up on a Awesome Silver Lightning,
Not only was it a fellow Forum Brother (chimshady1)
Not only did he Woop my ***,
But I lost control and dam near took out both our Lightnings
We drove side by side, raced over and over, and talked the whole way. (actually I was screaming, he was listening
) Unfortunatly we couldn't pull over, but boy did we say hello to each other. So I roll up to this Silver Beauty of a L, Black windows, Custom Hood, SLICKS (DAM) and it sounds awesome. So I yell over hey are you from F-150 he yells back ya I'm Chim, I go oh Schitt, it's me Rob-02Lightning. Then we both proceed to WOT it from a first gear roll, I immediatly go sideways and stay in it screaming up the road side by side while some a-hole in front of me decides to make a right. I adjust and go totally out of control and see me heading straight for his nose, THANK GOD CHIM IS ON HIS GAME. "WAY TO GO CHIM" Then we talked some more and raced again, AND AGAIN. He clearly has the faster Lightning and the Mods to back it up, so I was very surprised and Happy on how I kept up with him on a couple of our blast, I don't think he juiced me, DID YOU CHIM ???
At one point we were just cruzing and talking and we pass by an accident and decided to go again, (I know the cops heard us) and then it happen, A red light, "YA BABY" Well let me just say that ET Streets take off like a MO FO compared to F-1's in this freezing temp. HE ABSOLUTELY TOOK OFF LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL, I tried rolling into it, I tried off and on, off and on, but no matter what I did, it just proceeded to smoke the ever living schitt out of my F-1's and leave in a cloud of smoke WAY BEHIND.
So to sum up my test on the Accu-Fab and Plasma Booster, I'd say I absolutly gained a noticable amount in the seat of the pants meter. The car never smoked it from the speeds it was tonight, and I've raced in colder days already this year. I also seem to have lost that dead spot I've talked about when I ever so slightly touched the old throttle body (YA). It also seems to idle better, and absolutly responds better. I know Chim ran a 12.4 on F-1's (maybe he's done better since ??) and my best with my old mods was a 12.8. He also just did some recent porting and just tuned with JL a week or so again. So considering what I know he has, I was happy to be beating by my neighbor but yet surprised on the power I was able to pull off tonight myself, especially when we jumped on it side by side and we both hooked, we were neck and neck for a while there once.
I'd swear he juiced me though
Chim, awesome Ride you got there neighbor, glad we finally met, THANK GOD we didn't end up exchanging Insurance info on the side of the road thanks to me and my dam F-1's.

quick question though for chim when he reads this?? Why are you driving around in 20 degree weather with your slicsk on?? That sounds like sumthin I would!!! always anticipating a race LMAO!!!!!

Dam I wish I had my Upper Pulley on though, like that would have helped at the light

Autometer nos pressure guage,boost gauge,airfuel gauge,moster tach . nos heated with bottle warmer. Apearance Mods:Billet grille,antenna,undercar neons, Sound:Pioneer flip face deck,Pioneer 400watt amp,MTX thunderform 2 10s HAVE YOU DRIVEN A FORD LATELY

Hey now,you callin me a bully.LOL.Whats up Rob?That was a blast toninght.We couldnt have met in a better way.Man did my heart skip a beat when i saw you sliding right into me,but i must agree you got somes skills too.So i take it you like my setup.Sorry but there was no juice in the bottle tonight.Hasnt been for a while ,i had the blower apart for a while and it just leaks out over a couple months.I was just going for a little cruise tonight lookin for a race.Ive had the truck almost 2 years and just broke 8000 miles tonight racing you.Definatly ,we got to burn one ,one night and kick some brotherly lightning chat.I must say your truck sounded mean tonight.That scream is awsome.At first i wasnt sure what pulled up to me through the tint,then i saw the gleam of the lightning bolt on the fender ,then it was on.Again ,man that was the sheet tonight.Nice run Rob!!!Let me know about cecil,sounds sweet.
