adding safe blower pully lb's?

I was wondering what most of you guys ran as far as lower pulleys? I was looking at JL's site and saw an 8 lb pully? Would this be ok to run? I think this was the highest number of pounds i have seen lookin at pulley's. I have been reading alot of you guys posts about pulleys and wonering why i havent seen this size used?

4-6 # for the street with a conservative timing profile on the chip. I think 8# is a tad bit to high for the stock rods. Some are running them but im not that daring.

id stick with stock size tires unless you go with a bigger size rim. now with the pulley i wouldnt go past 4lbs with a 01+. if you have a 99-00 i might go with a 6lber but still that might be pushing it
