I got mine when I turned 17 brand spanking new red 2001 L, I sold my 2000 Tahoe limited for it, both brand new, and yes my parents do love me/spoil me. Sorry if this offends anyone, I can feel the hate building up against me from the older folk already, don't worry I still show my repect

When I turned 17, I was on my 5th car and owned 3 at the time. The only one that was driveable was a '75 Mustang II. The others were all project cars. Nowadays all of the highschoolers are driving all brand new cars. I'd say there were maybe 5 new cars out of like 300.

16 huh, man i feel old being 19. altough everyone thinks i look in the upper 20's. so that makes me feel really old, but i do get alittle bit more respect.
