I was thinking of purchasing a set of upper pulleys for my 01 L. I already have a 3# JL Pulley on the bottem, but that Razors Edge kit for the upper part caught my eye. For anyone who's running this, how much performance does it add? Also, is this risky running an upper AND a lower? Also, would I have to have my chip reburned for this upper pulley/ lower pulley combo? Thanks, any feedback would help, from ANYONE using this, or a similar kit (JL has one I know too) Thanks!

its a really nice kit, but your probably might not want to add more than a 1#pulley because of your stock bottom end, unless you either have some better rods or a big set of ***** i wouldnt add anymore than 4#'s total

 

I run a 4 lower and a 2-3 upper for the warm months, and a 4lb only during the cold months. Going from 2 or 3 lbs up to 4 or 5 lbs is exactly where you want to be, Yes you'll feel it, and Yes it'll make a noticable change in your ET And Yes you need a re-burn, you want to add some timing and also make sure you have the correct A/F to utilize the added boost AND KEEP YOU RODS IN.
