My girlfriend is ordering the MTX Thuderform for my birthday and I dont know whether to get it loaded (6000 series) or unloaded and pick different speakers for it. Did a quick search but didnt amount to much. Opinions?

 

Me personally, I would order it unloaded and pick some better speakers. Not saying the MTX's aren't good, just you can get a better sounding woofer like kickers, or pioneers.

 

I would get it unloaded and then get some better subs for it.

either JL's, ID's, Audiobahns. the MTX's are ok but not that great. there a best buy/circut city grade subwoofer.

unloaded. mtx makes crappy stuff imo. get something a little higher end..your L deserves better. the thunderform itself is great from what i've heard...but not the subs themselves (at least in other vehicles)
