Cal Traks Installation tips ?

Picked up a set of these slightly used. The anti rattle kit is on them..Do I really need to press the front spring bushing out or can I install these and use the stock bushings? I recall someone mentioning having to grind down the leafs so these would fit..thanks for any pointers...

I bet it would be possible to make the holes bigger in the front bracket to allow you to use the factory bushing. You might have to trim the rubber a little to make it pivit smoothly.

No matter what you still have to gring the sides of the leaf spring

You need to take the rubber out and changed it to the alum bushings for a few reasons. Mainly it is for stiffining up the support. You have to do it for the lock pins to work right and not create a loading and unloading bounce problem.

When I put mine in I just took a drill and bit and drilled out the rubber bushing until I could pop it out. What you have to gring is the fron of the leafs where the caltrac bar piviots around it. Make the leaf equal and they will move freely. Once you have it all apart it will become clearer to see....
