S/C Welding Mod

Stock



Plugs were made to fit holes exactly.
Some grinding is still left to do for rotor clearance.



The holes on the bottom were made bigger
then filled for a stronger weld.

I was going to go the JB Weld route until a contact got this done for me and it was free.

bloer holes...

Is there any performance gain to be had by doing this????

I assume your welder heated the casting prior to welding. That way, the welding heat won't warp the housing as much.

Make sure you check the rotor clearance all the away around on assembly. Welding aluminum without warpage is tricky.

I still think this is a better method than JB weld.
