I bought a 2003 King Ranch out of Mansfield OH on Ebay and was told it was basically flawless. I had an independant inspection done and came up Clean other than rust on the rocker panels , right. Well when I picked it up it it was well worth what I paid but it had a slight exaust tick. By time I got it home to ATL. GA it was louder and obviously had issues.

Come to find out the D... exaust Manifolds were rotting off the heads and I was going to need to pull the motor in order to get the bolts replaced. I ended up just pulling the body and extracting the bolts in 1/2 the time and saving some money in the proccess. So those of you enduring similar issues may want to consider this alternative.

 

As in pulling the fenders?

 

No, I acctually picked the body up off the frame in 1 piece. There are 6 bolts to remove and some wiring to disconnect but it went pretty quick compaired to pulling the motor and risking damaging other connections that may also be rusted.
