I JUST GOT A 2004 F150 Ranch edition and cant open the rear seat I pull on the three straps located behind the headrest and nothing is working. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO PUT THEM DOWN

I didn't know they could be put down???:confused:

they don't go down, those are the tethers for child seats.

The seat bottoms should fold up.

The seat backs don't move.

Maybe this is an April Fool's joke. If not I would have loved to see this guy yanking on the tether straps cussing up a storm.

Here is a hint for future questions. Thumb through the Owner's Manual first. You will save yourself a lot of aggravation.

If you want to take the back seat back off, I will tell you the trick.

remember this little tidbit....03;s seat back go down, 04's seat back stays put, seat goes up thus giving you 2X the room.

I didn't think they made KR's in '04?

I didn't think they did either. Thought they skipped a year after the body style changed to get some "bugs" worked out.

they didn't. 2005 was the first year of the KR in the new body style.

Correct... they started with Build #1 of the 05' model year.
