Just as long as all of that is out on the table before you really draw judgment upon us...

Just remember, Lenny is one crazy and kooky guy. He comes from the European School of Comedy and yields a sense of humor that would cause some camel's mouths to dry out at a glance. Me, on the other hand, I offer a varying level of comedy that tends to mystify the masses and create confusion among those in higher education classes.

I guess we're one in the same. (dang he's lucky I'd group him with me....)

LOL!

So that's a compliment then ??!

As for crazy and kooky...don't blame me...it was all the people around me.

Due to my advancing years I happened to be around at the time the Pythons were getting together (Kooky), and I happened to be in my late teens when I found myself living close to a couple of members of both the 'Stones' and 'The Who'.
Now if you've ever heard stories of Rolls Royces in swimming pools and certain things done with chocolate bars, I have to inform you that ....eeerrr....they're all true, as I had the fortune/misfortune to be at some of those parties.

As for stories you may of heard about "Moon the Loon"
(Keith Moon for those too young to understand this stuff), well let me tell you that the truth is way worse than anything that got into the press !!
Hence all this might account for the 'crazy' bit.

Though let me tell you compared with those guys I was way out to the right conservative !!!

Hi LT -

Well, I have searched for a leather cleaner that actually worked. We made the mistake of having our two year eat in the back seat on the ride home from the dealership.

Anyway....I found a product called Zymol leather cleaner. I got it at Target. It works great. It took out all of the yucky juice stains. Combine it with the King Ranch conditioner and we're looking new again.

Good luck!!

Well....I sure as hell wish I was there at the moment.

It's Wimbledon fortnight (2 weeks to Non Americans).

That means one thing.....rain !!

People think that it rains a lot here...in fact we've had hardly any all year.

Of course once dear Mr McEnroe comes over to help commentate on proceedings down comes the rain. on go the covers, and ....
"Rain Stopped Play".

Plus I'm streaming with hay fever...I'm sure the heat of Texas would dry me up.....plus a good feed at ' Do Brazilia ' in San Antonio, and I'd be my normal cantankerous self again !

(PS lady o texas.......send me an E mail...yours is disabled on the site...and wife and self might just stand you a meal at aforesaid place the next time we are there !

Brad...y'never know might just include you if you remain civil !!)

In some ways I wasn't kidding.

We were travelling from somewhere to somewhere and at the time I had bought a Corvette which I had shipped back to Blighty.

Thought it would be good to see the plant at Bowling Green...but we turned up just as they closed down for the 2 week summer break when they modify the lines for the upcoming year's model !

At least we saw lots of Blue Grass.

You know, after having gone to school in Bowling Green for nearly 5 years (I obtained dual bachelor degrees before someone makes a comment about the '5-year plan' ), I never toured the facility and, in fact, I've never been through the museum. I hear it's killer though!

I did, however, have a close soccer referee friend that was an engineer at the plant (since retired) that always gave me the inside scoop on information that wasn't readily available to the public. Most of the information concerned upcoming models and consistant problems that he was working to isolate and resolve. To this day, it seems as though it would be a neat place to work.

The museum WAS open and we got to see it...as I remember, it had moved from a previous location and was brand new when we saw it.

I still have the Corvette Tee Shirt from there and actually wore it to an MG meeting the other day......

So you see....I'm "Ockard" with everyone....not just you lot !!

Indeed. It's a neat place. I really need to take some time to tour it... I have, however, been on the museum site as there is a geocache located immediately off the museum property but, parking is on their prop...

Here's the travel bug that I snagged when I was at this cache... photo by me.. The Little Red Corvette

Too bad I was down there on business....

Speaking of being down there on biz... I'm heading that way first thing in the morning to tend to an industrial client.

I've learned to filter Lenny's comments after the 2+ years that I've spent here at f150online.com. LOL! I respect my elders but, I don't necessarily comprehend what they say all of the time. LOL! LOL!
