I've actually been surfing the job market to see what's out there (which is, seemingly, very little). Not sure what I'm going to do or where I'm going to go.

I had some great plans for this past weekend....friday, Detroit symphony orchestra folllowed by fireworks at The Henry Ford...then saturday, more fireworks at the park, then hang out by the pool and eat lots of food on sunday...and it had to rain all weekend so we stayed in doors.:(

Actually for a change this weekend wasn't too bad here (I'm SICK of rain). We caught the fireworks and the carnival.

The bad thing is the 7 yr old won a BUNNY at the fair (oddly enough he named her Sarah). That normally would not be an issue but I have a 77lb half boxer/half beagle.

Let's see,

Boxer = HIGH prey instinct (the thing has killed every stuffed animal in the Pooh household)

Beagle = bred to hunt rabbits

Inevitable outcome = 7 year old getting a rough lesson in how mother nature (specifically predation) works and blaming himself into his teens for leaving the cage door open.

Oh this is gonna be interesting... :eek:

Neighbor had a wheel of Blackcat firecrackers - 16,000 of them. They all went off in less than a minute - should have seen the mushroom cloud that went up!!!! Awesome!! His whole show lasted around an hour. Just as good as some of the 'pros'. Back of KR was covered in 'fallout'.
