Scalpers , sir, are the unauthorized/unofficial folks who sell tickets outside the grounds of a sporting event. Probably derived from an unfortunate practice started during the FRENCH and Indian Wars. The term refers to an unauthorized sale. Very American, indeed!

 

And usually at a hefty markup!

After getting scalded by you about you know what, I think you need to edit your posts most importantly as your response to my question is where it ran amuck. It really sucks that we can't have any fun but I honered your wishes and edited my posts concerning matters that seemed very sensitive to the watching eyes looking over us and monitoring what we say.

I've put it out on the line for this group with a couple of LARGE corporations which we all now, formally, represent. It is in our club's best interest to make sure that those corporations see us in a positive light and not from the perspective of someone that is stealing their profits.
