Question another question

I am curious. If I get a super cab KR in the 03 model, can I get an 8 foot bed? Thanks for any answer, and that logo looks real nice.

It's obvious you folks enjoy your trucks.

Skagel is, unfortunately, correct. Only the 5.5' bed is available on the SuperCrew.

Actually, the bed on the Supercab is 6.5 ft, the bed on the SuperCrew is 5.5 ft. Just a clarification.

And I believe that the 6.5' bed on the KR is only available in the flairside - not styleside.

Actually, the KR only comes in the Styleside, NOT the Flareside. JDMnAR, you had it reversed.

Not true... they actually make both the flare and the style in a KR. That was one of the new additions to the 2003 line.

I stand corrected. They flip-flopped the flareside/styleside for '03.
JDMnAR - I apologize, you were correct. For '03 they offered the KR Supercab in Flareside only. But, I do believe, for '01 and '02, it was reversed, they offered styleside only. Anyway, once again, I apologize for doubting anyone here. I will go crawl back into my hole now.

these are the facts from a 02 scab owner (me)

You cannot get an 8' bed on the 03 scab due to the fact that they only make flareside trucks. Second, you would have had to special order the truck because they all come 6.5' standard. Third, the supercab styleside's were ONLY available in 2002, not 2001. Those are the facts

Straight from the online brochure at: http://www.fordvehicles.com/pdf/F1503_brochure.pdf (Page 9 to be exact)

King Ranch F-150 – Available on SuperCab (Flareside only) and SuperCrew. Includes unique leather-trimmed captain’s chairs with embossed King Ranch logo and 2-way headrest, front and rear leather-wrapped floor consoles, instrument panel center finish panel with simulated woodgrain, unique King Ranch embroidered front and rear floor mats, chrome tubular lighted cab steps, 6-disc in-dash audio system, 17" 10-spoke aluminum wheels (4), unique badging/tape stripes/paint treatment

And no problem IL6 - after all I don't even own a KR!

Skagel - That's exactly what i did, try to build one. No go on the styleside. then i looked at my brochure. As JDMnAR posted, Flareside only with the Supercab. Great minds think alike. You know how many different vehicles I have "built" in that thing? I'm embarassed to count them up.
