KR SD @ Detroit Auto Show
 

I just got back from the auto show here in Detroit. Yes they had the KR. It was that boring oxford white that they insist on putting on the KR. It didn't have a sunroof like the one down in Kentucky, and it had have those hideous FX4 stickers on the side that really detract from the KR style. I didn't take any pictures, but maybe GIJoecam will post them for us.


side note:the truck had been picked apart by thieves. the KR labels on the back of the seats had been taken off, along with any knobs that could be removed. They even took the fuse box cover off one of the lightnings.....what is this world coming to?

Did you all ever settle on a house? I have a friend who's getting married and they are both selling there houses and building a new one. One is over off Chamberlin Ln and 22, and the other is in St. Matthews on Grandview. I think they're both in the $150 range. Both very nice properties. let me know if you want the numbers or addresses.

i've noticed a lot of dealers take easy to steal stuff off of the cars before they bring them into the shows so this may be the case. i'de have to agree that the fx4 stickers would be awful, hell, all stickers are awful on the paint of a vehicle. when i bought my lightning in 93 i had the dealer take the lightning stickers off of the side and my mom did the same thing with her fx4 she bought last year, really makes for a cleaner ride.

Thanks for the heads up on that... I'm still in WA but flying back tomorrow (god willing). I've been monitoring the weather there, it does look VERY cold.

No house yet. We're still looking at Ball Homes but, not sure what we're going to do at this point...

I am sorry for no pics RP, but my battery died for my camera and since I knew GIJoecam would have his camera I knew I could ask him to take a few pisc of the KR. Although I am on his #@! list so it may take a bit.
