F-150 cranks but won't start with one key but starts with the other key.
My truck would not start today after a day of kayaking.After many attempts I figured it was the fuel pump as I did not hear it come on.Finally it started and I got home and it would not re-start.tried many times.
I read dozens of blogs that all said fuel pump,fuse or relay which seemed to make sense but one mentioned a key issue so I tried my spare key and it starts every time.Will not start with the key that was in my pants pocket while kayaking.
The water had to have got at the chip.
Everything says thay are waterproof but not mine.
The key that does not work is not a Ford key but a 79.00 aftermarket replacement that I have used daily for 6 years.
