Reintroducing Myself

Reintroducing Myself
I will take this time to reintroduce myself, I was quite active on the forum back in 02-06 on the King Ranch board. I retired in 07 and moved to Oklahoma and sold the King Ranch because I wasn't driving it much and it was a gas hog. I have been driving a 2008 Ranger until last week when we decided to get another F150 SuperCrew, this time an 2015 XLT Sport, Magnetic Metalic color with 2.7 Ecoboost. I only have 400 miles on it so far, but I love it, I sat my Ranger that only had 33,000 miles in my driveway and sold it in 3 hours. I ordered a Undercover LSX cover for it today, should have the cover early next week, I'll post a picture then.

Welcome back! Good for you for being able to afford one of these new trucks on a retirement income.....
I put a "For Sale" sign up in my Ranger (2009 Sport with 36,000 miles) earlier this year and then promptly parked it in my garage because I couldn't decide if I really wanted to sell it. At the end of the day, I decided I just couldn't part with my old buddy -- much to my wife's chagrin.....

I drove crappy cars for years, didn't take vacation trips and lived in a modest house and we both saved and invested as much as we could, plus nice pensions and SS. My attitude is why leave it to the kids, they will blow it on $#!+, so I'm going to be a bit selfish and enjoy some of my hard work.
