After a couple years away from F150online I have returned.

I no longer have my '06 super cab - it has been replaced with an '07 Roush Nitemare (#86). As soon as I get the internet up and running again at home I'll post pics, but basically it looks like a black regular cab with a hood scoop and tailgate spoiler. Lol

For those few F150online members I met/almost killed on a trail run at Frank Raines park several years ago, I also have a Jeep if there are future off road events planned.

I look forward to contributing to the community yet again; I'll probably spend most of my time in the '04-'08, detailing, audio, forced induction and Nor Cal sections but will cruise around the rest of the site too.

Pictures are up, but nothing spectacular as I'm still doing everything from my iPhone

Flipping nice mate. Those Emblems are worth a bit.

Tornadom Jul 12, 2012 08:04 PM

Thanks Ross-FX4

The truck is all stock right now, but I might get in contact with Mike Troyer or Justin at VMP Tuning - I hear they can really wake up the Roush trucks.

Yeah am running 11psi through mine and it's like a wild animal

IDE recommend finding a local and Dyno'ing it.

What pulley setup are you using? Any belt slippage? Does the blower whine get even better?

There is an excellent dyno and tune shop about 10 minutes from me; I'll probably start by getting a few baseline pulls with A/F readings, then talk to a few experts about mods and tuning.

Iam running 7.5 lower & 3.4 upper with no belt slip.

It's a Snake bite ported jobby with scilencer holes filled.

Loud could be a word to describe it :roflol:

IDE 100% go local mate. It's worth the cost to have it dialed in accordingly. At least all outside factors like BAR pressure and ambient temp can be calculated and factored in etc.

Most tuners haven't even felt -20C never mind tune a truck for it. Not that you will encounter -20 / -30 or lower temps but it was a key sell when I went local

Again just my opinion.

Good points about the advantages of tuning locally; another would be the regional gasoline varriences - not all 91 octane is the same. Lol

what does your truck put down to the wheels now? what about stock? I'm incredibly curious about these, never seen one before. None of the roush guys or the one saleen guy i've seen like to play :(

Thanks. The truck is already lowered 2" front and 3" rear as part of the Nitemare treatment (or was possibly optional on the Nitemare, but either way it already sits lower). I don't care to go any lower, especially since I live on a dirt road that gets rutted up during the rainy season.
