Adhesive/glue for headliner repair

The headliner cloth in my 1999 f-150 is sagging all the way across the top at the front window.A good three inches is hanging down I'm looking for a temporary fix until i can replace the whole headliner. Is there a glue or adhesive made especially for headliner repair? Thanks.

Had that same problem with my wife's corsica several years ago. Used 3M spray adhesive but depending on the headliner it will not hold. The foam deteriorates and all you will do is pull of another layer of foam. Your best bet is to get the new headliner ASAP. You might be able to use clips but that wont look good, but better than a sagging headliner.

I did try the 3M spray. It worked for one day! I'll try the clips. That's probably a better short-term fix. Thanks.
