Dashboard color matched paint?
I have a few scratches/paint chips on my 2000 F150 Scab and was wondering if anyone tell me where i may be able to find some vinyl/plastic paint to match my dash. I tried the stuff they have at AP stores with no luck. I even called Ford to pay an arm and a leg and they couldnt help me. Any suggestions?

Fairlaner, thank you. Have been looking forever and cant find the piece i need. Well used anyway. I have the same color interior as you but dont recall the name of the colors. Correct me if im wrong but isnt it prairie tan (light and dark)?

Check your tag on the drivers door jam ... my '99 has the code X, which is Med Prairie Tan, but I think your 2000 may be H (Med Parchment).
Decipher the data tag HERE (3rd post) |
Sweet thanks again.

I got some Colorbond #115 Med prairie tan, which matches the light color in my interior well. I haven't found out what the darker color is called ... I'm probably going to have to start buying a bunch of cans and see what matches.
Is your interior two-toned? If it's like mine, the data tag will only give the light color. |

I bought the Ford ebony paint from a local paint shop and used plastic primer bought from local store that starts with a 'W'....
