Auxiliary Power Point door & driver-side seatbelt
One of the plastic pieces that holds the Auxiliary Power Point door has broken off. The spring immediately came out of place, and now it is just dangling inside the dash always open.
Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove the dash paneling around the door and/or how I can replace that small door? If I cannot find a replacement, I can try to super glue it although I doubt it'll be successful. I haven't taken apart my dash at all, so if I'm going to do it, I might as well replace the factory head unit.
While on the subject of interior care, would anyone know how to remove the plastic paneling that houses the driver-side seatbelt? The seatbelt retractor squeaks, and will absolutely not retract the seatbelt when I unbuckle it. It's driving me up the wall.
Truck:
1998 F-150
2-WD
V8, 4.6L
~125,000 miles.
Thank you.
