Hey dont feel bad about interior.. It looks like mine in my 03 is losing the color right over the glove box.. I can actually see the black behind the tan.. It is almost like the previous owner used that spray can vynil paint..I got to fix that... Plus my interior is 2 tone .. The dash is darker beige and the door panels up front are light beige and faded on the tops... I talked to the ford place and the guy behind the counter suggested OEM Dye Kit.. Around 70.00..Wonder what other colors go good with tan... I may do some serious 2 tone work...

What is the best thing to use for changing int. color? I have heard to use a die, as auto paint will chip. Any suggestions?

well this weekend i decided to go ahead and paint my interior. i painted it satin black (it may be a little too glossy but i actually think it looks good). it turned out great and really wasnt that hard to do...it only took about 5 hours, including dry time and re-assembly. i will take some pictures tomorrow because it is too dark right now.

yeah i dont really like the dash color but what you did to the door panels looks great in my opinion, i have a black 03 same kind and i painted the interior metallic blue, not the whole dash though just a few parts. i have a few pics in my album if you wish to take a look.

It is Krylon Fusion for plastic . I guess the black looks ok , but I don't like the plate you made over your HU , with the exposed phillips screws .

yep thats exactly what i used. and i like the black a lot better than the red...i would preffered to go back to stock but i dont want to spend the money on that and the only grey colors i could find in the fusion didnt look right. and on the plate i didnt know how else to mount it. i could have painted the screws black but then it would have just chipped off as i use the screws anyway. got any other ideas as to how to mount it with out glueing it because i still have to be able to get behind it?
