What do you use to clean your vinyl/plastic interior?

i bought my truck in january and i wanted to keep the interior like new so i bought a "plastic and vinyl cleaner" spray and i just didn't like it.

i think i have the OCD syndrome because now i just wipe down all of the dash, doors and center counsel with a wet mf towel once, sometimes twice a week. sometimes i'll put just a few drops of megs gold class car wash soap to a gallon of water to make a low concentration batch to where it barely makes any suds. then i'll wipe down the interior with this every few weeks. no armor all or dressing.

for 10 months now, the interior still looks like i just rolled it out of the showroom.

my brother said don't wash it to the point that you wash the dye out of the vinyl. has anyone experienced this? and how do you guys clean your dash and interior?

I use Adam's leather and interior cleaner followed by an application of VRT.

Don't really see a need to clean everything quite as often as you have, although I do keep a MF towel in the console and I use a California duster on the dash quite often.

actually, it takes about a minute or two to wipe down.

it's just a quick preventive maintenance before it gets dirty.

Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer.

I use meguiars as well...The black interior shows dust almost immediately so I tend to get a little ocd myself. Might try and find that optimum protectant, feel that meguiars leaves a film.

As recommended by a few detail guys I know

Pledge! It's cheap and works great.

You can wipe the dye off if the plastic/vinyl isn't a solid color all the way through. I have done it in an older truck. the other danger is wiping the vinyl off done that to. petrol based products will clean vinyl like hell by removing a layer of it. With that it will also take textures off it as well.
