Broken Cupholders
 

i have a 2000 f150 XLT 5.4 L 4X4, and now with a broken cup holder. yesterday i was giving my friend a ride and he had a drink that he just couldn't hold for the 5 min ride. (my truck has the cup holders in the dash that you have to push in, and then they pop out.) and with the truck being 7yrs old something in the cup holders was worn out and they stuck alittle when you tried taking them out. so instead of pulling them alittle past the point where they get stuck, he decided to punch them????:mad: . then when i heard something fly off inside the dash (piece of spring steel) i got pi$$ed and kicked him out. i got the piece of spring steel out from the dash, but don't know for sure where it came from or how to re attatch it. how was it originally attached??
