Lariat w/cloth seats??
I found a truck in another town I'm considering buying. It sounds like a different configuration though. Has anyone heard of a Lariat with cloth seats? Every Lariat I've seen to date has leather. It's a '97 extended cab 4x4. Also, It has a 5-speed. That's pretty unusual for a Lariat also isn't it? Any comments? Thanks...

According to the 1997 F-150 brochure I have, the Lariat came standard with 60/40 leather split bench. Captains chairs with console were optional, but does not specify leather. The standard transmission was a 5spd manual, automatics were options. It appears it is possible you could have a Lariat with cloth captains chairs and a 5 spd. Probably a pretty rare configuration.
